This field trip will examine contractional structures and jointing that deform Devonian-aged bedrock in Erie County. We will hike in multiple stream valleys where this deformation is exposed and discuss the origin of these structures and their impacts on the local drainage patterns. Cost includes transportation, lunch, snacks, and water.
