One 24" x 20" sheet. From text: The Marathon region of West Texas is the largest exposure of Ouachita facies rocks in Texas (Flawn et al., 1961). The only other large exposure is the Solitario, a 5-mi-diameter uplift. Rocks exposed in the Solitario are comparable with rock units and facies identified in the southwestern part of the Marathon Basin. Other, smaller inliers found in and near the northeast part of Big Bend National Park furnish additional information about rocks within the overthrust belt south of the Marathon region (section B-B′).
