Have you ever wondered what you can do to help conserve and celebrate an important geological site? Our planet’s geosites may be recognized for their scientific, educational, aesthetic, or cultural significance, and can range from private sites to local nature reserves to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Led by a team of international experts, this course will include presentations and discussions on topics including conservation interventions, geoheritage management, monitoring, interpretation, and community engagement. Using examples from around the world, we will focus on practical geoconservation actions that will assist both beginners and experts in protecting and promoting sites of geological significance.

Coffee and snacks will be provided.
